Holiday shoppers at Fishkill’s Walmart have a convenient new spot to get their caffeine fix.

Dunkin’ opened a location in the Hudson Valley Towne Center, according to David Livshin, president and CEO of the Dagar Group.

The location at 18 Westage Drive is about half a mile from the next closest Dunkin’, at 680 Route 9.

Dunkin’, when it opened Friday, joined several food options in the center, including Five Guys, Chipotle, Boston Market, Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grille and Hudson Buffet. In addition to serving holiday shoppers, the location is walking distance from the Regal Fishkill movie theater.

The location, which is near the intersection of Route 9 and I-84, features a large customer seating area and free Wi-Fi, according to a press release.

There are more than 25 Dunkin’ locations in Dutchess County, according to its website. The eatery, better known as Dunkin’ Donuts, shortened its name in January.

“By simplifying and modernizing our name, while still paying homage to our heritage, we have an opportunity to create an incredible new energy for Dunkin’, both in and outside our stores,” Tony Weisman, U.S. chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, said in a statement announcing the change.
